Pramukh Innovations offers large number of Tibetan Incense that are hand rolled from natural herbal ingredients with no bamboo stick in the center. These hand prepared incense has been used for hundreds of years in the Himalayan regions of Tibet, Nepal and Bhutan and is deeply rooted in Tibetan culture. Authentic Tibetan incense originates from traditional monastery recipes and medical formulations.  During the time of the Buddha, over 2500 years ago, these medicinal and monastic formulas were developed by combining more than 31 different ingredients. Masalas or mixtures of herbs, plants, flowers, leaves, grass, wood, bark, spices and minerals are blended in strict accordance to these recipes. These Tibetan incense are characterized by its use of natural ingredients without harmful additives such as perfumes or dyes. Common components include cedarwood, sandalwood, juniper, amber, musk, jasmine, frankincense, lemongrass, rose, mint, lemon, pine, cinnamon, lavender among others. Each blend can consist of up to 28 different ingredients combined according to traditional recipes. The primary ingredient is often wood that is ground into a fine powder before being mixed with other elements.
